Setting a resolution for the new year? When setting resolutions, most of us focus on something we've been striving for or something that helps us to be better.
Maybe you've decided to exercise more, eat healthier or [insert vague and unrealistic goal here] this year. While these are all great goals, most of our goals are vague and we get burnt out trying to do it all.
Try choosing a small goal that makes a big impact. We've put together a list of things you can do one time only, weekly, monthly, or as often as you want! Try to choose something that you're passionate about and motivates you.
Here are 10 resolutions for the new year to help make you, and the world, a little better.
Try a New Recipe. Grab your kids or invite a friend over to cook something new.
Move More. Try a new workout class each month or join classpass that lets you try out different workouts in your area. Find something you enjoy to help motivate you to move regularly!
Stress Less. Set aside a few minutes each week to try a guided meditation or breathing exercise to help you manage your stress.
Take a Bath once (or twice, or three times) a week! Maybe even throw in a bath bomb or add some bubbles!
Shop Local. Set a goal to shop locally for gifts, home decor, and produce this year.
Go Non-Toxic. Swap out those old, scratched pots and pans and ditch the cleaning and beauty products full of chemicals for more environmentally friendly, non-toxic options! (P.S. It's totally reasonable to go slow and make this a year-long transition if you love this goal but feel overwhelmed!)
Eat at a New Restaurant. Choose a new spot each month for date night or happy hour!
Take the Stairs - even if it's just for one flight!
Get Involved. Donate, join a cause, or volunteer for something you're passionate about.
Go Green by investing in something sustainable like a reusable water bottle, glass storage containers, eco-friendly produce bags, or (my favorite) stasher bags to help reduce plastic waste.
